I specialize in working online exclusively with adults, in an individual format. This allows me to devote me fully to helping you achieve your highest potential.
I don’t work with children or couples at this time.

I also provide therapy in Spanish as native speaker.

My main approach is Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS) an evidence-based therapy approach that integrates mindfulness self-compassion and the language of parts.

The goal of IFS therapy is to help you identify and communicate with the different parts of yourself, understand their motivations and roles, and promote self-healing. Through this process, you will develop greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and emotional regulation, leading to a more fulfilling and authentic life.

My approach is person-centered. I’ll create a space where you can feel safe to open up and trust our collaborative work. I bring a calm focus to the therapy process and remain goal-oriented. As an expat, I am specially attuned to issues of belonging and cultural challenges.

I have a broad experience working with a variety of mental health problems ranging from mood disorders, anxiety, to alcohol problems, internal conflict and relationship issues. My specialty training includes Internal Family Systems and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, both of which are evidence based methods that give tools to know yourself and find out what gets in the way of healing. I will tell you more about my approach in our first session.

How/where will be meeting?

We will be using an online platform that is secure and easy to use. I am not meeting in person at this time.

What are the sessions like/what can I expect when we meet?

I am here to listen and guide you in learning about yourself. To that end I will help you set goals for your therapy and will provide some structure to every session. You can expect open ended questions as well as exercises in session that are intended to increase self-compassion and self-efficacy. I will work with you to find practical things that you can do to feel better and continue to practice the principles you discover during our time together outside the session as well.

Do you take insurance?

At this time, I don’t take any insurance but I can provide a bill for reimbursement.
