IFS Therapy for Adults Stuck in Overthinking, Self-Criticism, or Repeating Patterns
Psychotherapy for thoughtful adults using Internal Family Systems (IFS) to transform unhelpful patterns, strengthen relationships, and create lasting change.
Most therapy stays at the surface. I work differently. As a Level 2 IFS Therapist with 10+ years of experience, I help you go beyond just ‘managing’ symptoms. We get to the root of the conflict between your parts so you can finally feel at peace.
If these patterns feel familiar, you aren’t ‘broken’—you’re likely experiencing a conflict between parts:”

Repeating Conflicts
You find yourself having the same arguments, feeling unheard, or withdrawing when things feel tense.

Harsh Self-Criticism
No matter what you achieve, an inner voice tells you it’s not enough.

Emotional Shutdown
When things feel overwhelming, you disconnect, procrastinate, or numb out.

Life Transitions
Career shifts, relationship changes, or identity questions leave you unsure of your footing.
Instead of trying to “fix” yourself, we focus on understanding the parts of you that are creating these patterns — and helping them shift.
Over time, this leads to more clarity, less internal conflict, and more grounded choices in your relationships and daily life.

In our work together, we explore the inner patterns that shape your emotions and relationships — not to “fix” you, but to understand what those parts are protecting and how to help them shift. Therapy becomes a process of clarity, self-leadership, and meaningful change.
You will feel understood and thoughtfully challenged. Together, we work to move from fear and self-criticism toward clarity and confidence.
Therapy available in English and Spanish.

Frequently asked questions:
How/where will be meeting?
We will be using an online platform that is secure and easy to use. I am not meeting in person at this time.
What are the sessions like/what can I expect when we meet?
I am here to listen and guide you in learning about yourself. To that end I will help you set goals for your therapy and will provide some structure to every session. You can expect open ended questions as well as exercises in session that are intended to increase self-compassion and self-efficacy. I will work with you to find practical things that you can do to feel better and continue to practice the principles you discover during our time together outside the session as well.
Do you take insurance?
At this time, I don’t take any insurance but I can provide a bill for reimbursement.
How to check your reimbursement: Call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask:
- Do I have ‘out-of-network’ benefits for outpatient mental health?
- What is my out-of-network deductible, and has it been met?
- What is the ‘allowable amount’ for CPT code 90837 (Individual Therapy) or 90847 (Couples Therapy)?”
